Keep each supplier parcel identifiable
Keep the order reference, supplier courier number, item description and carton count together. One purchase can arrive in several parcels, and several parcels can later form one freight shipment. Send the complete list when asking which goods have arrived.
Courier says delivered, but receiving is not visible
Courier delivery and warehouse matching are separate records. Send VSPEED the courier number, customer identification, signed-for date and proof of delivery if available. The team can check whether the parcel was delivered to the designated address and matched correctly. Do not assume a missing entry means the freight has left.
Confirm what is in the onward shipment
Before dispatch, confirm which parcels should travel together, any items still outstanding, and the recipient details. Ask for the reference used for the selected sea or air shipment. If goods are split across departures, keep a separate reference for each batch.
Check the correct transport stage
