Before you pay the supplier
Ask for the product description, material or model, country of origin, invoice, carton count, packed dimensions and gross weight. Tell the team about batteries, liquids, fragile goods or temperature requirements. If a permit or certification review is needed, settle the requirements before dispatch; forwarding does not replace the importer’s responsibilities.
Agree where VSPEED takes over
Check whether the supplier will deliver to a designated receiving point or needs collection. Obtain the current warehouse address and customer identification instructions from VSPEED before using them. For several suppliers, keep a list of which cartons belong to each order and when each batch will be ready. Counting or repacking must be agreed separately from product quality inspection.
Compare LCL, FCL and air freight
LCL shares container space; FCL gives your shipment exclusive container use. Air freight is worth comparing for urgent stock. Use the same packed dimensions, weight, receiving deadline and delivery address for each quote. VSPEED accepts China–Malaysia LCL from 0.5 CBM; that minimum alone does not decide which option costs less. Split urgent goods from planned restocking when it fits your needs.
Compare the complete quotation
Ask which party pays for China collection, receiving, repacking, international freight, clearance, duties or taxes, storage and Malaysian delivery. Check the chargeable quantity, minimum charge and quotation validity. Door-to-door describes the transport scope; the accepted quotation must still identify included charges and conditions for additional work.
Prepare the receiving end before dispatch
Provide the recipient’s name, phone number, full address and any delivery appointment requirements. Say whether the site needs a tailgate, forklift or unloading crew. If stock must enter storage and later go to several customers, share the delivery list so warehousing and distribution can be quoted with the inbound freight.

Yes, subject to cargo compatibility and readiness. Send the supplier list, carton details and expected receiving dates so the team can confirm what can be combined.
Does door-to-door mean every charge is included?
No. Confirm the collection and delivery points and the charges listed in the accepted quotation. Duties, additional storage or special unloading must be explicitly addressed.
What if I do not have the packing list yet?
Yes. Send product photos, the supplier location and delivery destination first. Ask the supplier for packed dimensions, weight and quantity before a final quote is confirmed.
