What this service is

VSPEED books freight from worldwide origins to Malaysia and arranges customs clearance and local delivery after arrival. Available routes, schedules and charges are confirmed against the origin, cargo and delivery address. LCL (Less than Container Load) lets different shippers share container space. VSPEED receives goods at its China receiving points and connects sea freight, Malaysia clearance and delivery. For the China-to-Malaysia service, the minimum is 0.5 CBM. Dense cargo is assessed using the greater of actual volume and weight-equivalent volume at 1 CBM = 500 kg; the quotation confirms the applicable charges.

VSPEED Worldwide Marketing (M) Sdn. Bhd. is an international freight and integrated logistics partner with offices in Klang and Johor Bahru and warehouses across China, Selangor, Johor and Singapore. Freight, customs clearance, warehousing and delivery are handled by one team rather than passed between vendors.

LCL definition

Ship by actual cargo volume before you need a full container

LCL means Less than Container Load. When cargo volume has not reached full-container level, customers can ship together with other compatible cargo instead of waiting until a full container is ready. It is a practical option for ecommerce replenishment, wholesale purchasing, multiple-supplier consolidation and recurring import needs.

Why LCL

A business LCL account that grows with your order volume

VSPEED LCL is built for businesses that ship repeatedly, not for one-off bargain shipments. Ecommerce sellers restocking every few weeks, wholesalers buying from several suppliers, and importers still testing a product all start here. As order volume grows, the same account moves up to FCL, adds air freight for urgent lines, and connects into warehousing and fulfilment, without changing logistics partner or re-explaining your cargo.

Customer fit

VSPEED LCL is built for recurring business cargo, not just one-time shipping

This service is suitable for customers who need recurring replenishment, supplier consolidation, door-to-door shipping or a clearer import flow into Malaysia or Singapore.

Ecommerce replenishment

Online sellers shipping stock from China to Malaysia or Singapore.

Wholesale purchasing

Wholesalers that need small-batch recurring imports.

Multiple suppliers

Customers with goods from several suppliers that need one consolidated shipping plan.

Not ready for FCL

Importers that have not reached full-container volume but want stable shipment movement.

Door-to-door support

Business customers who do not want to coordinate every logistics party separately.

Other origin review

Customers with cargo from worldwide origins outside China into Malaysia or Singapore.

Why VSPEED LCL

A connected LCL flow from China warehouse to final delivery

VSPEED is not only arranging one sea freight leg. For LCL customers, the team can connect Foshan and Yiwu warehouse consolidation, LCL shipping, customs coordination, door delivery, system tracking, warehousing and distribution follow-up into one clearer operating flow. This is more suitable for businesses that need recurring replenishment, multiple-supplier consolidation and long-term logistics support.

What goes wrong

The problems importers bring to us

These are the situations customers describe before they switch. If any of them sound familiar, the cause is usually a broken handover rather than the shipping itself.

Goods sit at the supplier while you wait to fill a container

You do not have full-container volume yet, so shipments get delayed until enough stock accumulates, and your stock-outs get worse while cargo waits in China.

Every supplier ships separately and you pay several times

Buying from four suppliers means four shipments, four minimum charges and four sets of paperwork, when it could have been one consolidated shipment.

Nobody tells you the goods arrived at the warehouse

You chase the supplier, the supplier says it shipped, and nobody can confirm what actually reached the warehouse or whether it was the right item.

Customs holds the shipment and the cost was not in your quotation

An incomplete declaration or a wrong HS code turns into storage charges and a delay that was never in the original price.

The forwarder stops at the port and delivery becomes your problem

Cargo clears, then you are told to arrange your own lorry, so you are coordinating a second vendor for the last leg.

LCL sea freight

Shared container space, coordinated as one shipment flow

LCL combines compatible cargo from different shippers into shared container capacity. Customers ship according to actual volume while VSPEED coordinates consolidation, sea freight and delivery follow-through.

LCL or FCL

When should you move up from LCL to a full container?

LCL is the right starting point for most importers, and many VSPEED customers begin here while sales are still being tested. As volume grows there is a point where a full container becomes cheaper per unit: start comparing FCL rates once a shipment approaches 15 CBM. Because both run on the same account, moving up does not mean changing logistics partner, re-explaining your cargo or losing your delivery arrangement.

FAQ

Common questions

Can VSPEED book freight worldwide and deliver within Malaysia?

VSPEED books freight from worldwide origins to Malaysia and arranges customs clearance and local delivery after arrival. Available routes, schedules and charges are confirmed against the origin, cargo and delivery address.

What is LCL shipping?

LCL stands for Less than Container Load. Your cargo shares container space with goods from other shippers, so you pay for the volume you actually ship instead of a whole container. Most forwarders set a minimum charge of 1 CBM even if your cargo is smaller; VSPEED’s China-to-Malaysia service ships from 0.5 CBM. Other origins are quoted separately. For dense cargo, chargeable CBM is the greater of the actual volume and its weight-equivalent at 1 CBM = 500 kg. LCL suits shipments below roughly 15 CBM.

How long does LCL sea freight to Malaysia take?

China-to-Malaysia sea freight typically takes 8–14 days door to door, including customs clearance and delivery. The expected arrival date is confirmed against the sailing, cargo documents and receiving address.

Should I choose LCL or FCL?

Choose LCL when cargo volume is below roughly 15 CBM, when you are replenishing in smaller batches, or when goods come from several suppliers and need consolidating. Choose FCL once volume approaches a full container, or when fragile or high-value goods should stay sealed and unhandled from origin to destination. VSPEED reviews your actual volume and cargo type and advises which is more cost-effective.

Who is VSPEED LCL suitable for?

It is suitable for ecommerce replenishment, wholesale purchasing, multiple-supplier consolidation, recurring small-batch imports and business customers that need door-to-door delivery.

Does VSPEED have China warehouses?

Yes. VSPEED operates warehouse receiving points in Foshan, Yiwu and Guangzhou. Your suppliers can deliver directly to these warehouses, where goods are received, checked, consolidated and loaded for sea freight.

Is VSPEED LCL door-to-door?

Yes. VSPEED can arrange door-to-door service according to cargo details, address and delivery requirements.

Can I request a delivery date or time?

Customers may share preferred delivery date, time or receiving requirements before delivery. The team will suggest a practical arrangement based on route, cargo and site conditions.

Can LCL cargo handle K1-related needs?

K1-related arrangements depend on cargo type, import documents, clearance method and actual operating conditions. Customers can send packing list, invoice and supporting details for review.

Can VSPEED support China export tax rebate customs declaration?

VSPEED can coordinate China tax rebate export declaration support for suitable factory export requirements. Actual document requirements will be confirmed based on the cargo and export arrangement.

Can customers track cargo status?

Yes. Customers can check cargo status and shipment progress through system tracking where available.

How do I calculate CBM for my shipment?

CBM is length times width times height in metres, per carton, multiplied by the number of cartons. A carton measuring 60cm by 40cm by 50cm is 0.6 x 0.4 x 0.5 = 0.12 CBM, so 20 of them is 2.4 CBM. Send your carton dimensions and quantity and VSPEED will confirm the total, or use the calculator on this site.

How are import duty and SST calculated?

It depends on the product's HS code and country of origin, so different goods carry different import duty. As a structure, import duty (from the HS code) is charged on the CIF value first, then SST of 5% or 10% by goods category on CIF plus duty; a 0% duty rate does not exempt SST. Send the product and origin and VSPEED confirms the applicable duty and SST.

Does VSPEED outsource last-mile delivery to couriers?

No. Many forwarders hand last-mile delivery to third-party couriers, which causes queueing and delays during peak season. VSPEED delivers with its own fleet of more than 20 lorries across multiple sizes, so delivery scheduling stays under VSPEED's control.

How fast is delivery after the container arrives?

VSPEED warehouses in Selangor and Johor sit close to the main ports, so cargo moves into the facility quickly after release. In normal conditions cargo deconsolidated today can be delivered the next morning.

Can VSPEED handle K1 declarations in-house for LCL?

Yes. VSPEED has an in-house customs brokerage team handling K1 and K2 declarations, pre-screening cargo before arrival to avoid customs holds. Clearance costs are shown transparently rather than bundled into an unexplained figure.

Can I send cargo from several suppliers to one shipment?

Yes. Suppliers deliver separately to the VSPEED warehouse in Foshan, Guangzhou or Yiwu, where goods are received, checked and consolidated into one shipment. This is one of the main reasons buyers use LCL rather than shipping each supplier separately.

Can VSPEED deliver LCL cargo to Singapore?

Yes. VSPEED operates a Singapore warehouse and moves cargo daily between Kuala Lumpur, Johor Bahru and Singapore, so Singapore delivery can be arranged as part of the same LCL booking.

Is LCL suitable for fragile goods?

LCL cargo shares container space and is handled more times than FCL, so fragile goods need proper packing. VSPEED can arrange professional crating and reinforced packing at the China warehouse before loading. For consistently fragile or high-value cargo, FCL keeps the container sealed and is usually the safer choice.

Which countries can VSPEED ship LCL from?

VSPEED handles cargo from China, Thailand, Taiwan, Korea, Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore and the United States into Malaysia. China is where VSPEED operates its own consolidation warehouses, so that lane has the most direct control, but other origins are arranged based on cargo, documents and routing.
