In-house customs clearance
K1 and K2 declarations are prepared by VSPEED's own customs team, not outsourced to a third-party broker, so document issues are caught before the container arrives.

What this service is
VSPEED books freight from worldwide origins to Malaysia and arranges customs clearance and local delivery after arrival. Available routes, schedules and charges are confirmed against the origin, cargo and delivery address. FCL (Full Container Load) means your cargo has exclusive use of a 20GP, 40GP or 40HQ container. VSPEED arranges the ocean freight, handles Malaysia customs declaration in-house, and delivers with its own trailer and lorry fleet, so one team stays accountable from origin loading to final delivery.
VSPEED Worldwide Marketing (M) Sdn. Bhd. is an international freight and integrated logistics partner with offices in Klang and Johor Bahru and warehouses across China, Selangor, Johor and Singapore. Freight, customs clearance, warehousing and delivery are handled by one team rather than passed between vendors.
Customs inspection · Site photos
When Customs selects a shipment for inspection, VSPEED follows up on the required documents and site arrangements, then updates the customer on progress and any changes to the delivery plan. These photos show inspection-site activity, cargo inside an open container and a container exterior.

Inspection requirements and release are determined by Customs. The photos document the site; they do not establish a shipment’s clearance result or a guaranteed release time.
FCL in operation
FCL gives one shipper dedicated container capacity. VSPEED coordinates the ocean-freight, customs, warehouse and delivery stages around the actual cargo and route.

Core advantages
Review the key service points before sending cargo details for quotation.
K1 and K2 declarations are prepared by VSPEED's own customs team, not outsourced to a third-party broker, so document issues are caught before the container arrives.
20+ VSPEED-controlled vehicles across multiple sizes handle container haulage and West Malaysia delivery without relying on outside subcontractors.
Klang and Johor Bahru facilities allow container unloading, sorting, storage and redistribution before final delivery.
Port Klang, Pasir Gudang and Penang Port are core covered ports, with Johor Port and PTP routing available on review.
VSPEED reviews cargo volume, weight and packing to advise whether 20GP, 40GP or 40HQ loads most efficiently.
EXW, FOB and CIF are all supported, with guidance on which term suits your purchase arrangement.
FCL or LCL
A full container is not always the cheaper answer. Below roughly 15 CBM, paying per cubic metre on LCL usually costs less than paying a fixed container rate you cannot fill. Send your actual volume and VSPEED will quote both options side by side rather than pushing you into a container too early.
Swipe left or right to compare all options.
| Compare | FCL (this service) | LCL |
|---|---|---|
| China–Malaysia minimum volume | One full container (20GP) | From 0.5 CBM |
| How you are charged | Fixed rate per container, whether full or not | Per cubic metre actually shipped |
| Usual volume range | Roughly 15 CBM and above | Below roughly 15 CBM |
| China–Malaysia sea transit | 8–14 days door to door, including clearance and delivery | 8–14 days door to door, including clearance and delivery |
| Cargo handling | Sealed at origin, opened at destination | Shared container, loaded and unloaded with other shippers' cargo |
| Best suited to | Bulk shipments, fragile or high-value cargo, fixed arrival schedules | Ecommerce restocking, multi-supplier consolidation, testing a new product |
| Cash flow impact | Larger outlay per shipment, lower unit freight cost | Smaller batches, less capital tied up in stock |
Container reference
Container capacity decides which size is cheapest for your cargo. Internal capacity figures below are standard industry references; usable volume in practice is lower depending on packaging, pallets and weight limits. Send your packing list and VSPEED will confirm which container loads most efficiently.
Swipe left or right to compare all options.
| Compare | Internal capacity | Typical payload | Commonly used for |
|---|---|---|---|
| 20GP (20ft general purpose) | About 33 CBM | Up to about 28 tonnes | Dense, heavy cargo such as tiles, machinery parts and hardware |
| 40GP (40ft general purpose) | About 67 CBM | Up to about 26 tonnes | General mixed cargo where volume matters more than weight |
| 40HQ (40ft high cube) | About 76 CBM | Up to about 26 tonnes | Bulky, lightweight cargo such as furniture, foam and packaging |
| Reefer and open top | Reviewed per booking | Reviewed per booking | Temperature-controlled goods, or oversized cargo loaded from above |
Incoterms 2020
The Incoterm decides who arranges and pays for each leg, and where risk passes from your supplier to you. VSPEED supports EXW, FOB and CIF, and can advise which one gives you better control and cost visibility for your route.
The supplier only makes goods available at their factory. You are responsible for export handling, main freight and import. Gives the most control and cost visibility, and works well when VSPEED coordinates the whole chain from the supplier's door.
The supplier handles export clearance and delivers to the departure port; you take over from there. This is the most common term for China to Malaysia trade and usually the clearest split of responsibility.
The supplier arranges main freight and insurance to the destination port. Simpler for first-time importers, but freight is bundled into the supplier's price, so you have less visibility on what you are actually paying for shipping.
Regardless of the term, VSPEED manages Malaysia import declaration, port release, warehouse handling and final delivery. On EXW and FOB, VSPEED can also arrange origin pickup and export documentation.

FAQ
VSPEED books freight from worldwide origins to Malaysia and arranges customs clearance and local delivery after arrival. Available routes, schedules and charges are confirmed against the origin, cargo and delivery address.
FCL stands for Full Container Load. The whole container is used by one shipper, so cargo is not consolidated with goods from other companies. It is normally the better choice once cargo volume reaches roughly 15 CBM or more, or when goods need to stay sealed from origin to destination.
China-to-Malaysia sea freight typically takes 8–14 days door to door, including customs clearance and delivery. The expected arrival date is confirmed against the sailing, cargo documents and receiving address.
Choose FCL when cargo volume approaches a full container, when goods are fragile or high value and should not be handled alongside other shippers' cargo, or when a fixed arrival schedule matters. Below that volume, LCL sea freight is usually more cost-effective.
Yes. VSPEED has an in-house customs team that prepares and submits K1 (import) and K2 (export) declarations for major Malaysia ports, rather than passing the shipment to a third-party broker.
Port Klang, Pasir Gudang and Penang Port are the core covered ports. Johor Port and Port of Tanjung Pelepas (PTP) routing can also be reviewed based on the shipment.
20GP, 40GP and 40HQ containers are the standard options. VSPEED reviews cargo volume, weight and packing to advise which container size loads most efficiently.
Yes. VSPEED operates its own trailer and lorry fleet for West Malaysia delivery, and can also unload at its Klang or Johor Bahru warehouse first for sorting and redistribution.
Send the packing list, commercial invoice, cargo type, total volume or container requirement, origin address and destination address. These allow the team to review routing, container size, customs requirements and cost.
EXW, FOB and CIF are all supported. The trade term determines which party arranges and pays for each leg, and VSPEED can advise which one suits your purchase arrangement.
VSPEED arranges and coordinates bookings with major carriers, and long-term working relationships help when space tightens, for example before Chinese New Year. Space is never guaranteed and always depends on carrier confirmation, so book earlier when your shipment falls in a known peak window.
VSPEED's founder has 17 years of hands-on experience in China-Malaysia trade and logistics. FCL is run by a dedicated in-house team that books, declares and delivers end to end, and pre-screens documents before the container sails to reduce the chance of an inspection hold.
VSPEED operates warehouses in Selangor and Johor as part of a network with over 50,000 sqft of combined warehouse capacity. Containers can be unloaded there for sorting, storage, repacking and redistribution instead of going straight to your site.
Yes. VSPEED runs offices in Klang and Johor Bahru and a Singapore warehouse, and moves cargo daily between Kuala Lumpur, Johor Bahru and Singapore, so Malaysia and Singapore delivery can be arranged under one booking.
Yes. Shipment status is available through the VSPEED system, so you can see the current stage rather than emailing for updates. Access is set up when the booking is confirmed.
FCL suits manufacturing materials, furniture and home goods, electronics, machinery, project cargo and any high-volume or high-value shipment. Reefer and open-top container options can also be reviewed for temperature-controlled or oversized cargo.
It depends on the product's HS code and its country of origin — different goods carry different import duty, so there is no single flat figure. As a structure, import duty (set by the HS code) is charged on the CIF value first, then SST of 5% or 10% by goods category is charged on CIF plus duty; a 0% duty rate still does not exempt SST. Send the product and origin country and VSPEED's in-house customs team classifies the HS code and confirms the rate before booking.
Clearance normally takes 2 to 3 working days for sea freight when documentation is complete and accurate. Incomplete declared values and vague product descriptions are what cause holds, so VSPEED pre-screens documents before the container arrives rather than discovering the problem at the port.
Demurrage is charged when a container sits at the port beyond the free period; detention is charged when you keep the container outside the port too long before returning it. Both are avoided the same way: have documents ready before arrival so clearance is not the bottleneck, and arrange haulage and unloading in advance. VSPEED schedules clearance and delivery together for this reason.
The HS code sets your duty rate, and it varies widely because different goods and different countries of origin are treated differently. Send the product description, material, intended use and origin country, and VSPEED's customs team classifies it before booking — a wrong code means either overpaying duty or a reassessment later.
No. VSPEED handles the export declaration, carrier booking, Malaysia import declaration, port release and delivery, and advises on documents you need from your supplier. First-time importers are supported through the full sequence.
Where this runs
FCL is priced and scheduled around a specific route and discharge port. Check the lane and gateway that applies to your shipment, then send documents for a quotation.
